A Buck Pole is a cherished tradition in Michigan’s hunting community, where hunters gather to proudly display and share their legally harvested deer. Typically held after the opening of firearm season, it’s a social event where deer are hung on a pole or structure for all to see, often accompanied by friendly competition, storytelling, and celebration. At our 1st Annual Buck Pole at Coach's Pub & Grill, we’re putting a fun, family-oriented twist on this heritage—featuring a pig roast, live music, and categories for all ages—to introduce the next generation to the outdoors while honoring Michigan’s rich hunting legacy.
