About the League
Coach’s Sand Volleyball League offers an exciting and social volleyball experience for all skill levels. Our well-maintained sand courts provide the perfect setting for competitive matches, while our bar and patio create a great post-game hangout spot. Whether you're here to win or just enjoy the game, you'll love playing at Coach’s.
Location: Coach’s Pub & Grill, Lansing, MI
Divisions: Recreational and Competitive
Game Nights: Multiple nights available throughout the week
Perks: Food/drink specials and end-of-season tournament
Registration: Sign up as a team—spots fill quickly!
Game Format: Best-of-three sets, rally scoring to 21 (win by 2)
Team Size: 4v4 coed & 6v6 coed (at least one female must be on the court)
Substitutions: Allowed but must be on the roster
Forfeits: A team must have at least 3 players to avoid a forfeit
Weather Policy: Games are played rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe
Sportsmanship: Players are expected to be respectful—poor conduct may lead to removal
